In the semi-arid tropics, our landscape is lush 7 months a year and dry for 5 – providing ample design challenges and ecological interest!
Appropriate Technology & Natural Building
With the goal of becoming a living model, we already have several water conservation systems and natural building structures.
Indoor and Outdoor Spaces
Since acquiring the property in 2014, we have been working to create a beautiful and enjoyable place for people to learn and stay.

We love looking at art, thinking about art, and incorporating art into everything we do. We also love providing opportunities for others to create.
Food, Farm Produce & Fermentation
Our aim is to grow food for ourselves and guests, to eat delicious and fresh foods, and to preserve and ferment the extra.
Community Outreach
We are always looking for opportunities to develop good relationships with neighbors and collaborate on projects of long term benefit to the community.
